The flatware is very well made and of high quality.The handles are thick and strong.Not flimsy at all.Don't expect these to bend!They have a deep crimson red handle which will go nicely with all types of decor.From the "country kitchen" with gingham or apples to the ultra modern kitchen with sushi or square plates.

Besides the apples, I have some olive green square plates that I bought for a recent dinner party.I mixed and matched and they looked absolutely stunning.
